Experience Through Their Eyes

We've been wanting to try this place for a while, but because it's tiny and in a shopping plaza we admittedly kind of forgot about it. DO NOT make the same mistake! I saw the smoke coming from the back and could smell goodness immediately. I didn't order anything because I already had my dinner, but my son did. He got a burger and fries. But this was not your ordinary burger and fries. I smelled it, took one look and had to have a bite. It legitimately made me cheat on my diet! The fries remind us of my late southern father's hand cut, kettle cooked fries. Oh, they were so good. But that burger! The burger was huge. Tasted like it was done on a grill. I only tried a little piece of the meat itself, but that was enough to get the smokiness and seasoning. My son loved it and he's our burger connoisseur. Lastly, I'd like to mention how kind the owner/chef is. I went back in to grab a a menu and compliment the food. He mentioned the prices going up and apologetic for the wait, but please don't! The cost of the burger and fries was more than reasonable and waiting for good, fresh food on a busy Saturday is worth it. It wasn't very long at all, but nice to see he cares. We will be back and can't wait to try more. Kudos.

The food was so good. The shrimp was the best that I've had from any Cleveland area restuarant, they were not overcooked nor dried out, big and fluffy and the hushpuppies were good too. The mac n cheese was perfect! I tried the greens and candied yams. Delicious. This is a must try place.

Enjoyed a nice dinner at this establishment a few nights ago. I discovered this place while browsing new eateries in my neighborhood. I ordered the wing dinner with a side of macaroni and a side of yams. Everything was hot and delicious. Will definitely return to try the fried fishes. Good eats!

We drove 30 mins to get 2 catfish dinners, 2 sides of greens and mac n cheese. They did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. No complaints. We will be visiting again.

This place is a real standout, and I wish I'd tried it sooner. We've ordered takeout a couple times now, and everything has been excellent. A real gem hidden in plain sight - best food in Bedford, hands down. Delicious fried perch, and big, tasty shrimp. Both were perfectly done, with just the right amount of crispy breading. I honestly can't remember ever having better shrimp, anywhere. The fried chicken salad I tried was also really good. It's a small place that occupies a nondescript storefront in a little shopping plaza, but don't let that keep you from trying it! I made that mistake and wish I hadn't. The gentleman running the restaurant, who I assume is the owner, is friendly and absolutely knows what he's doing! If you want fresh, quality food done right at reasonable prices, you'll be pleasantly surprised and quite happy with Brulee!
